HashPack Launches Email Login for Easy Account Creation - No Recovery Phrases Needed!

HashPack has released version 5.0.0 with a new email login feature. Now, you can create accounts without the need to memorize any recovery phrases or account IDs. This new feature is powered by Magic Labs, ensuring the utmost privacy and security for your account. 

But that's not all! The update also includes improved parsing of HNS domains, added token icons from backlog, and the introduction of checksum support. Wait, what is a checksum, you may ask? It's an optional security measure proposed by @leemonbaird himself in HIP-15 to prevent sending funds to the wrong account. With all these exciting new features, HashPack v5.0.0 is a must-have for Hedera account holders! 

DOVU's Sustainability Grants Program: Get Paid for Being Green and Innovative! 

Attention all environmentally-conscious innovators! DOVU, the Hedera Hashgraph-based carbon credit project, has just launched its Sustainability Grants Program. And guess what? You can earn grants in the form of DOV tokens by contributing to the platform's continuous growth across four proposal tracks: Development, Marketing, Community, and Supply. 

Feeling creative? Join the Development Track and introduce ingenious solutions that enhance functionality, user experience, and overall performance. Are you a marketing guru? Amplify DOVU's presence by showcasing the platform's utility and governance. Not technically-inclined? No problem. You can expand the DOVU community with non-technical work and connect core contributors to outreach and media opportunities through the Community Track. If you're all about supply chain, submit proposals that bring new supply to the DOVU platform or integrate dMRV technology to support supply verification through the Supply Track. 

The DOV token holders will drive the grant distribution across the four tracks, ensuring that the DOVU community's input is valued. Voting starts now and will continue for two weeks, so act fast and shape the future of carbon credits together! 

Blade Labs Launches Dual Network Blade Wallet for Hedera and Ethereum 

Blade Labs has announced the launch of the Dual Network Blade Wallet, which provides users with a seamless, unified experience on both Hedera and Ethereum networks. The new wallet allows users to view balances, transfer, buy, sell tokens and access dApps on both networks via Wallet Connect. With its new wallet, Blade Labs has opened a gateway for businesses to build their core applications on the Hedera network while simultaneously interacting with Ethereum-based smart contracts, offering their services to a much larger user community. Users of Ethereum-based wallets can also easily import their keys into Blade Wallet to experience the clean user interface and take advantage of Hedera's native private key management capabilities, such as multi-signature accounts and threshold keys. Blade Labs believes that its latest product launch is a giant leap towards making Web3 more accessible. The Blade Wallet and accompanying suite of white label wallet solutions can be downloaded for free on mobile devices or Chrome Web Extension at www.bladewallet.io. 

Lumos Labs Hatch Web3 Hedera Accelerator: Meet the Cohort 1 Finalists! 

Web3 innovators, listen up! The Hedera Hashgraph-backed Hatch Web3 Accelerator has selected its first cohort of start-ups. The selection process was no easy feat, with over 500 applicants vying for a spot in the accelerator. After much deliberation, the accelerator team shortlisted 20 start-ups, and the final winners were chosen based on criteria such as real-world utility, novelty, alignment with the funds, and proven execution. 

So, who made the cut? Meet the cohort 1 finalists: 

First up, we have Alive - an interactive, immersive world for every song to come alive. Using digital avatars and NFT music tracks, Alive enables artists to perform in the metaverse and further connect with their fans. Users can navigate customized virtual worlds based on different music genres, and each song and respective skin, character, and other virtual items are all NFTs built on the Hedera Token Service (HTS). 

Next, Karpine is a blockchain & IoT-based supply chain track & trace solution for fashion and luxury retail to create digital twins. By creating a digital twin for each product and linking it to a Karpine smart label, Karpine enables tracking of the product in real-time. Karpine also provides enhanced customer experience as part of a value chain using unmanned checkout and anti-counterfeit solutions, a Hedera-first and an exciting movement in the supply chain space. 

Finally, StreamNFT is a conditional ownership protocol for NFTs in the Hedera ecosystem. Through their protocol, users are granted conditional ownership and with that, the financialization of their NFTs to enable in-game assets, token-gated access, memberships, ticketing, subscriptions, and much more. The protocol facilitates P2P collateral-free rentals of NFTs, P2P escrow-less loans, and token gated accessing. 

Each of these startups has demonstrated real-world utility, alignment with the Hatch Web3 Accelerator's funds, novelty, and proven executions, making them well-suited for continued support from the accelerator team. 

Cohort 2 is now open for applications until April 30th, so if you're a Web3 entrepreneur or developer, don't miss out on the opportunity to be a part of the future of Web3 on Hedera.
