The State of Hedera in Q1 2023 has been summarized in a recent report by Messari, showcasing the growth and expansion of @hedera. The report highlights the financial performance and network activity of Hedera, including their strong revenue growth, increased network activity, and successful project launches. The report also includes updates on Hedera's DeFi ecosystem, NFT activity in gaming, network services overview, security breach, and governance council. Overall, the report shows that @hedera has made significant strides in Q1 2023 and is continuing to grow in the crypto industry.

🚀Hedera Hashgraph Co-Founder Talks Decentralization and Growth at Consensus 2023 

In case you haven't heard, Hedera has been on a mission to decentralize their governance and operations for a while now, and it looks like they're finally achieving major milestones. They even open-sourced their software, which Mance says they've forgotten about because it's been so long. 

But the real kicker is their growth. They've logged over a billion transactions every three weeks and there's no other layer one protocol out there that comes close. They're like the Usain Bolt of the blockchain world, leaving everyone else in the dust. 

And they're not done yet. Dell has even joined their governing council, which means more decentralization is on the horizon. Mance says they're going to be more selective with council members going forward, so it's like joining the cool kids' club but with less hazing (we hope). 

But the real tea is that Hedera is working on decentralized recovery and custody solutions, which will be open source and could be a game-changer for the industry. Lehman, the other co-CEO, brought up the d-rack aspect a few months ago, and Mance says they're still working on it, but we'll have to wait for the rollout to get more details. 

All in all, Hedera seems to be doing pretty well for themselves. They're like the prom queen of the blockchain world, and everyone wants to be their friend.

Hedera's Head of Global Policy is Leading the Charge for Regulatory Clarity in #web3 on Capitol Hill

The House Agriculture Committee invited #Hedera's very own Head of Global Policy, Nilmini Rubin, to testify on Capitol Hill. I know what you're thinking - what the heck is #web3? Well, it's all about decentralized apps, or dApps for short, and public blockchains that use digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies, to operate. But with the lack of regulatory clarity, some companies are fleeing to other jurisdictions, leaving the U.S. behind in blockchain innovation. During the hearing, Rubin highlighted the need for an activities-based framework to regulate digital assets and shared some real-world examples of how they're being used. With the rising popularity of #web3, it's time for the U.S. to catch up and make some regulatory moves.
